J. Trent Crenshaw
Candidate for Lincoln County Collector of Revenue
J. Trent Crenshaw is a lifelong resident of Lincoln County. The son of Dottie and Joe Crenshaw, Trent graduated from Elsberry High School in the top 10 of his class, and went on to acquire a Bachelor's degree in Education, and a Masters degree in Administration from Missouri Baptist University. Having lived most of his 37 years in Elsberry, he recently moved to Foley, where he is the sole operator of the Crenshaw family's Century Farm. Serving as an educator for the last 12 years, he currently teaches at Northwest Middle School in the Hazelwood School District, while also officiating men's collegiate basketball.
Enthusiastic, energetic, and dedicated, Trent shares his busy life with daughter Julia, a freshman at Fort Zumwalt High School and a talented athlete, and fiancee Kylie Davis, manager of an Ear, Nose and Throat clinic in Columbia, MO. Together they enjoy hunting, fishing and numerous sports activities such as softball, basketball, baseball, football and track and field. Both Julie and Kylie are highly supportive of Trent's political aspirations. When discussing the help and support he enjoys from those closest to him, he says, "I could not be more thankful for my parents, my daughter, Kylie and her family, as I am truly blessed to be surrounded by such wonderful people."
Should he be elected, Trent will bring his considerable talents and enthusiasm to the office he'll hold. "I am running for Collector of Revenue because I would be truly humbled and honored to represent the fine constituents of Lincoln County," he says. "I want to bring new energy to the office and be instrumental in helping make decisions as our county experiences exponential growth. As in the field of education, I envision I will enjoy building positive relationships, and working with other elected officials to offer solutions to issues that will benefit all. Because of my numerous interests, I enjoy meeting new people and find we have numerous commonalities."
J. Trent Crenshaw is one of two Democratic candidates vying for the position of Collector of Revenue in the August 7th primary.
